In case you missed it, read last week’s issue here
Hello all, this is just a quick release to express my gratitude to each and every Campus Capital subscriber, speak on the history of Campus Capital, and talk about the future of the brand.
Today, February 16th 2026, the Campus Capital Newsletter gained its 100th subscriber. This is truly an incredible milestone for the Campus Capital brand and our community. I would personally like to thank everyone that has made this milestone possible in such a short time. I would also like to thank everyone that has interreacted with our social media outlets, on TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Over the past week, the Campus Capital TikTok page has grown to 7,486 followers, 62,107 total likes, and over 1 million total video views. This is insane! I could have never imagined that so many people would not only share my love of finance and accounting, but that some would want to tune-in every week to hear what some random student has to say about the industry.
(ps. 100 subscribers was the goal for the end of 2026!)
I know 100 subscribers might seem like a small number, but to me, it means the world. I am so proud of how this newsletter has grown and what it has turned into. I’m filled with excitement just thinking about the places that Campus Capital will go.
I started Campus Capital back in May of 2025, it was originally supposed to be a small side project. I wanted a place to build a small community and share my insights on what I’ve learned and what I’m still learning. I used it as a tool to learn more about finance and accounting, stay informed with events within the industry, and to aid me in the recruiting process.
But, Campus Capital quickly turned into much more than that. I was shocked, people were actually interested in this little idea. I stayed committed to sending out an issue every single week to a small subscribership of 10-20 people. Yeah I wanted people to read it, but I didn’t really care if they did or not. I knew that most people would see it in their imbox and leave it untouched. All that mattered to me is that I was making progress; I was growing, I had some people that liked the newsletter. I wasn’t just growing the brand, I was building a community of like-minded individuals, slowly. But to me, any progress was progress and I celebrated the addition of every subscriber that joined the newsletter. Campus Capital turned into my hobby, my passion, my brain-child. I’ve always loved writing, but now I had the opportunity to write about my passion, to people who were interested. I am incredibly lucky. Thank you all.
The past 2 weeks have changed everything with Campus Capital, we heave gained an enormous amount of traction through social media posts, which have led people here to the heart of the brand: the newsletter. I have massive plans for the Campus Capital Newsletter and for the brand itself. Eventually, I want to possible implement things like:
Discord servers
Multiple issues a week
Subscriber only segments + benefits
Guest writers
I know it may not seem like much, all you did was type your email into a box and click “Subscribe”. But to, that was a “click” of trust and verification. You trust me to provide you with important news, tips that can actually help you, and important advice for the industry. It is my duty to uphold that level of trust, and I am 110% committed to delivering all of my subscribers with the best, most important information that can aid them in their finance and accounting journey.
On behalf of The Campus Capital Brand, thank you.

About Me
My name is Braunsen Bax, I’m an honors finance and accounting student-athlete at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois (45 mins outside of Chicago). I graduated from Walton High School in Marietta Georgia. Outside of the classroom I compete in the throws events for the Track & Field team, 35 time NCAA DIII national champions. I’ve had a love of finance and accounting since my sophomore year of high school and started Campus Capital to share that love with my community and like minded individuals in a similar position, with similar goals. My mission is to help people like me shape their futures to ensure they reach their goals while being up to date and educated in the Finance industry.
